We have just had our Helmet Dress Disco on Wednesday and there were so many interesting "dress up" helmets on the day!

Mini Wheels Day

Dear Balmoral School children,

Thank you for participation in the Mini-Wheels Day on Wednesday. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun! It was also great to see many of you wearing helmets when you were riding your scooters - good job!

Lily would like to thank everyone in the Balmoral TravelWise Team for their hard work: Molly, Bella B, Bella W, Siniva, Jasmine, Sarah, Phoebe, Olivia, Mia, Ellie and the new members: Jessica, Jordan, Joakim, Josef, Lisa, Zoe, Alice, Charlie, Finn, Harrison, Setoga, and Fergus. Great team work!

Helmet Check

 

Dear Balmoral children and the community, 

Do you have a helmet for biking or scootering? Did you know that the average 'life' for a helmet is about 5 years? Last Friday we had Samuel, Abel and Mayur from Auckland Transport came to Balmoral School to check our bike helmets for us who have helmets. Thank you guys! Some children will need to get new helmets as their ones were too old or broken. Most of us were pretty good with our helmets. Keep up the good work guys!

Dear Balmoral Community,

Welcome to our new TravelWise blog! We have had a busy start since Term 1 with all the shoe design, Roll survey, Walkers' Tree and we are looking forward to having more fun things to happen this term. There will be a Mufti/Dress-up, Wheels' Day and something special at our Balmoral Great Day Out later this year!
